French Immersion Camp
Let's go to France!
The 2023 summer break is just around the corner. Why not travel to France for a week, or even seven.
Don’t want to spend 11 hours stuck in an airplane bound to Paris? How about a short drive to beautiful uptown Chandler and the FrenchAm Schools? No passport required!
The FrenchAm Schools organized 7 weeks of French Immersion camp for children 1-10.
Drop-Off
Campers drop-off is between 8 am and 8:30 am.
Pick-Up
Pick-up is between 3:30 pm and 4:00 pm.
There is not extended care available during camp.
Fee
Summer camp fee is $300 per week, with the exception of Session 1 (May 30-June ), which is $240, and Session 6 (July 5-7), which is $180.
Fee
Fee must be paid at time of enrollment. Fees are not refundable with the exception of camps being canceled by FrenchAm due to the low number of campers.
Snacks
One snack will be served to the children at 10 am. For safety reasons, we ask to those of you who have stated severe allergies for your children to supply appropriate snacks.
Lunch
Parents must supply lunch for their children. Lunch needs to be packed in a lunch box with cold pack. There is no cold storage available. There is no microwaves available.
Explorer Camp Weekly Themes
Campers will participate in craft activities, science experiment, they will be able to listen and read stories, enrich their French vocabulary. They will watch documentaries related to each theme, learn songs. Some of them will be able to improve their reading and writing skills. They will of course have free time for many other activities. Every Friday they can bring their bicycles to school to enjoy in our huge air-conditioned multi purpose room.

African adventures
The lion will not sleep during our African Adventures. Campers will participate in fun and educative activities based on the theme of the week.

Land of the Free, Because of the Braves
Francis Scott Key is the author of the famous words “the land of the free and the home of the brave.” He wrote those words in 1814 and, ever since 1931, they have been sung as the national anthem of the United States.

Let's go to Paris for Bastille Day!
Bastille Day is the common name given in English-speaking countries to the national day of France, which is celebrated on 14 July each year. In French, it is formally called “La Fête Nationale”.

Knowledge of French language is not required to participate in FrenchAm’s Summer Camps.
