The FrenchAm Schools are seeking a Full-time Pre-School Teacher Assistant to help the Lead Teacher manage a classroom of children age 18  to 36 months. Responsibilities are maintaining a well-organized and safe classroom environment as well as assisting in planning and implementing activities, preparing snacks, helping for lunch, helping children with potty training and changing diapers when needed.
This position is Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm and requires the applicant to be a great communicator and listener, to have patience and good relational skills. In addition, the Teacher Assistant will have to attend at least 18 hours of training a year.

The FrenchAm Schools offer French immersion education in two schools at our Chandler location: FrenchAm Preschool, a private, tuition-based 100% French immersion school for children age 1 through Pre-Kindergarten, and FrenchAm Academy, a public K – 5 Charter elementary school offering French-English immersion.

Minimum qualifiactions:

• Must be authorized to work in the Unites States
• Must be 18 years of age
• Have a High School Diploma or +
• 1+ Years of experience in an early childhood education environment
• Native French Language
