After School Enrichment Programs

FrenchAm offers different After School Enrichment Programs each day of the week, Monday through Thursday.

Drum Circle: Led by DrumTalk TV’s Dan Shinder, this percussive hands-on program allows children to explore the magic of making and listening to rhythm, while fostering several personal skills, including teamwork, respect, focus, and adaptability.

Theater Arts: Soprano Helen Bianca organizes this music, acting, and movement program.  The children perform a show with costuming and sets at the end of the semester.

Chess Club: Coach Nikolay of the World Champion Chess Academy conducts our chess club.  Chess has been shown to have a strong link to math and reading skills.

Pure Imagination Art: NEA representative Nja One offers her unique program designed to ignite your child’s creativity and enhance their knowledge of a number of artistic disciplines, subjects, mediums, and art history.  A Professional Art Exhibit is given at the end of the semester.

JumpBunch: FrenchAm has partnered with children’s sports and fitness experts Jump Bunch to bring a fun, safe, non-competitive, physical activity experience to after school.  Jump Bunch focuses on guiding young children through all phases of physical development, including eye-hand coordination, large and fine motor skills, muscle development, body balance, and agility.
