Patrice is the School Administrator of The French American School of Arizona. Everything related to how the school runs is his responsibility.
Patrice has been involved with law enforcement and security most of his life. He was a body guard for many years in Paris, France, working with several entertainment celebrities as well as industry and political leaders.
He also held private investigator licenses both in France and in the United States.
He had also work in event planing and organization in France and Europe. He is only satisfied when others are satisfied and happy. His sensitivity to people’s general well-being draws its roots from his professional background, and extensive traveling experiences since early childhood. His father’s work in the aeronautics industry took him all over the world. Patrice spent his childhood years in Africa (Ivory Coast and then Nigeria), his teenage years in Asia (Sri Lanka and Bahrain) and Oceania (New Caledonia and Tahiti).
Shortly after his return to France, his birthplace, he met Corinne. They immigrated to the United States in 1997 with their son, Roch.
Where was I born?
I was born near Paris, France.
When’s my birthday?
How many children do I have?
I have one son named Roch. He lives in Mesa, AZ.
Do I have any pets?
Yes. I have a cat named Causette.
- Blue/Turquoise are my favorite colors
- I could eat Asian food everyday. Vietnamese is my favorite. I also love cajun cuisine.
- I love most ocean wildlife, but sharks are my favorites. I remember diving with them all the time when I was in Tahiti. They are awesome animals. People just need to know them better.
- I enjoy cooking for my friends and family.
- I would have loved to meet Ronald Reagan.
What is your favorite restaurant?
Well, that changes all the time. Right now, I have 2: Mekong palace in Mesa, and Pappadeaux in Phoenix. But ask me again next month, and it will be different.
What is your favorite beverage?
Coconut water, fresh from the tree. Now, if I don’t have a coconut tree available, I would say coffee or hot tea.
What is your favorite music, artist, band?
Well, first and foremost, Jimmy Buffett. Anything that has an island flavor will do too. I also like Franky and the Rat Pack.
What is your favorite activity?
Scuba diving definitely. I also love being with my wife. Sitting by the fireplace talking about everything and anything.
What is your favorite movie (or genre)?
50 first dates. The 2004 version, with Adam Sandler. I just love the way he loves Lucy (Drew Barrymore.)
What is your favorite book (or book style)?
Difficult to say. I love to read. I like biography, historical novels, WWII era books are also of interest to me. My author of the moment though, is Pema Chodron.
What is your favorite store or shopping place?
What is your favorite historical era?
I would say WWII. My grandpa was a soldier and was part of the invasion in 1944. He told me so many stories, that I got attracted to this era. I read a lot of books, watched a lot of movies, about this historical time. The Great Generation has always fascinated and inspired me.
I would have loved to be a police officer, or a Secret Service agent, here in the United States. But really I don’t complain. My body guard job got me working closely with the men and women in blue and it was a lot of fun.
If I was not living in Arizona, I would like to live on an island, somewhere hot. Hawaii is at the top of my list, for sure.
If I was not born when I was, I think I would have loved to be a pirate roving the high seas in the 1600s.
